Overview
Trail Ridge, as we know it, was acquired in December of 1998. After its acquisition, several new buildings were built prior to its first summer of ministry in 2001. The 385-acre facility contains 13 cabins, a swimming pool, covered basketball court, auditorium, chapel, dining hall, game room, snack shop, athletic field, spring-fed pond, hiking trails and scenic overlooks, and much more. Many campers have come through this camping program, with several making professions of faith in Christ.
Thomas Center
The Thomas Center is where you'll come to check in for camp events. It's main floor accommodates our camp offices, the infirmary, and some lodging. Upstairs is Evergreen Lodge, with lodging suited for couples and singles. The Craft Corner can be found in the lower level--It can double as a classroom or small group meeting space.
Dining Hall
Our Dining Hall contains a kitchen and large dining area. This building is used throughout the year for feeding our hungry campers, but also doubles as a great space for hosting events like Trivia Night and Family Film Friday. This building has been recently remodeled. The lower level contains our Game Room and Snack Shop.
CHapel & Rec Center
The Chapel is used for chapel sessions and indoor group activities. The Rec Center next to it contains mini-golf, pocket soccer, scooter hockey, and several other "backyard" games. Additionally, the Rec Center can double as a large group meeting space.
Cabins
Trail Ridge has 13 cabins. These are mainly used for youth and family camps, and for our bigger retreats like Mother/Daughter and Father/Son. Each cabin is set up "duplex-style" with two lodging areas separated by a shared common area. Each half can sleep up to 12 people.
Tree Houses
Trail Ridge has a Tree House that is used throughout the year for Cherith Retreats and for event and volunteer lodging. This modular home can house to up to two couples, or a family.
Lake
The 3-acre spring-fed pond (that we lovingly call a Lake) has paddle boats, canoes, and a rowboat. For those who enjoy fishing, bring your own gear and try your luck with catch-and-release fishing.
Activities
There are many ways to have fun at camp! Activities include the Archery, BB-Gun, Tomahawk, and Blow Gun ranges, and the Quad (located near the athletic field) which has some of our most popular outdoor games like Octoball, Giant Carpetball, and the bouldering wall. There is also a disc-golf course throughout the camp, an outdoor mini-golf course, as well as several hiking trails. The Sports Shack has any and all game equipment you might need! On hot days, the outdoor pool is a camper favorite.
Critter Holler
In the summer months, Critter Holler houses all sorts of fun animals. During summer camp, campers have the opportunity to learn about the different animals and even try their hand at some farm chores!
THE LOdge: Coming summer 2026!
For several years, our staff has been praying for wisdom as we consider ministry growth. God has continued to work in the hearts of people and provide for our present needs. Over these last few months we've been working with an architect on building plans, and we're excited to announce the Chapel-Lodge Project! This multi-functional building will meet needs that our current buildings are no longer able to accommodate, while also laying the groundwork for future growth and adaptability.
