Arrival And Departure

Check-in at the Thomas Center upon your arrival at camp. Come into the building at the “Registration” door. Please plan to arrive between 5:00-6:30 pm on Friday evening, September 25th.  Supper will be served at 6:45 pm. If you do arrive early, please wait patiently at the Thomas Center. Our staff will check you in beginning at 5:00 pm.
Departure from camp will be Sunday morning after breakfast and a morning chapel service-around 11:00 am.

Schedule

Our staff has been working hard to create an exciting schedule for this event! We’d appreciate your participation at all activities, and please note that chapel attendance is mandatory. The Young Adults schedule of activities will be handed out upon check-in. Weather permitting on Saturday we plan to open up some of the camp activity areas, do some group games, trap shooting, and open up the lake for boating.

Standards Of Conduct

-The highest standards of moral conduct will be maintained, and all camp activities at Trail Ridge are to be above reproach.
-Children must be supervised by a parent at all times.
-Children under 18 will not be able to participate in camp activities without a parent present. 
-Unless consent is given by the Trail Ridge Camp Director, please follow the camp curfew as listed in your schedule.
-Alcohol, tobacco, electronic smoking devices and illicit drug use are banned from Trail Ridge.
-Crude, profane or obscene language, taking God’s name in vain, cursing, and other offensive language will not be tolerated.
-All cabin areas, dorms, shower houses and restrooms are male and female restricted. This is to be observed by all Trail Ridge guests.
-Vandalism, filthiness, and destruction of camp property will not be tolerated. Guests will be responsible for any damages or excessive filth to the facilities, grounds and/or equipment beyond the wear and tear associated with normal use.
-It is expected of campers to keep all dwellings and activity areas neat and clean. End of the stay basic clean-up will be handled by camp guests.
-No pets will be allowed on the Trail Ridge facilities—no exceptions.
-Modesty and discretion are to be maintained in both dress and behavior by all campers and staff.

-Clothing that isn’t approved in the Dress Code
-Literature to distribute
If you have a cell phone, you can bring it with you, but please don’t plan on using it much during the retreat. You may want to take some measures to be sure it doesn’t get damaged. If you won’t need it, I’d recommend you just leave it in your car or room to keep it safe and to keep you free of distraction during the weekend!

Barnyard Banquet

Saturday evening, get ready for the Dining Hall to transform into a Barnyard Banquet! We'll have a special themed supper, some unique games, and open up the photo booth. We'd love you to join the staff in wearing overalls, plaids and flannels, straw hats, animal costumes--whatever barnyard fashion you may have around!

Lodging

Singles will be staying in the dorm-style rooms in Evergreen Lodge. If we run out of space in the dorms, we’ll open up our heated cabins. If you’re single, be sure to bring bedding and towels. Married couples will be staying in either the couple-style rooms in Evergreen Lodge or our Treehouses (modular home). Couples will have all linens provided.

Health And Safety

If you are showing signs of illness such as an upset stomach, vomiting, fever above 100, diarrhea, etc. within 24 hours of coming to camp, we ask that you do not attend Trail Ridge. In this case please contact the camp office as soon as possible for a refund.

Pets At Camp

Dogs and other pets are not allowed to be out on camp property even if they are on a leash. Accidents in various forms happen even with pets that have always been reliably well-behaved. As Trail Ridge is a pet-free facility, we respectfully ask that your pets (even the ones you consider to be family) stay home.

Vehicles

For the safety of camp participants, all vehicles must maintain the posted speed limit of 15 mph or less. All vehicles must stay on the roads, not on walking trails or to the lake. When parked, keys must be removed from any vehicle for the safety of all guests.

Some people like to bring bikes to get around camp a little quicker. All bike riders must be wearing a helmet when riding—No Exceptions.

Allergies and Dietary Restrictions

We do our best to accommodate those with food allergies. If you let us know about an allergy on your registration form, we'll strive to provide a comparable meal options to fit your needs. All with special diets are encouraged to consider bringing some snacks along as our snack shop has limited allergy-friendly options.
If there are any updates to your dietary restrictions after you register, please let our office know.

Cancellation Policy

If you decide to cancel your reservation, please contact the camp office as soon as possible. If a refund is requested for a cancellation after the registration deadline (typically within a week and a half of the event) all but 20% of the registration fee will be refunded. Except in unforeseeable circumstances like inclement weather or sudden sickness, we are unable to refund any day of cancellations or no shows.

When you get to the top of the hill on Cherith Way, turn left through the gates. Continue on the gravel road. You will pass a small log cabin (Hillbilly Lemonade) on the right. The next building on the left side of the road is the Thomas Administration Center. Park in front of this building and come inside the "Registration" entrance to check-in.
