Check out by 10:30 on Thursday morning, July 3. Breakfast will be served "drop-in" style-once you've eaten, feel free to head out. Check out procedures will be discussed at camp.

Schedule

Our staff has been working hard to create a workable schedule for all of our campers for this special event! We’d appreciate your participation at all activities, including Chapel. Chapel attendance is mandatory, and failure to attend may result in your early dismissal from camp. The Family Camp schedule of activities will be handed out at check-in.

Dress Code

At Trail Ridge, we strive to honor God through our words, actions, and appearance. All camp staff, volunteers, and campers are expected to follow the dress code, which will be enforced by camp staff. When packing, please choose clothing that reflects modesty. Here are the guidelines:
Shorts must be no shorter than mid-thigh.
Skintight clothing is not considered appropriate coverage unless worn as a base layer.
Undergarments should never be visible.
Sleeveless shirts are permissible, but tank tops are not allowed.
Clothing with inappropriate messages (suggestive language or content promoting non-biblical values) is not permitted.
Cover-ups that comply with the dress code must be worn to and from the pool.
Ladies/Girls: Swimwear must be a modest one-piece or full coverage shorts and shirt combination. Skirts and dresses must be knee-length or longer, and shorts must be worn underneath for camp activities.
Men/Boys: Swimwear must be boxer-style swim trunks.
Trail Ridge reserves the right to request any camper to change clothing if, in the staff's judgement, the outfit is immodest, inappropriate, or inconsistent with the camp's standards.

Some items of clothing you will want to consider bringing: long pants and long sleeved shirts or hoodies for cool evenings, rain coat or poncho, a sturdy pair of sandals (flip flops do not hold up well here), a hat, sunglasses, some clothes you don’t mind getting very dirty or stained.

Health And Safety

If you or any member of your family attending Family Camp is showing signs of illness such as an upset stomach, vomiting, fever above 100, diarrhea, etc. within 24 hours of coming to camp, we ask that you do not attend Trail Ridge. In this case please contact the camp office as soon as possible for a refund for your family.

Pets At Camp

Dogs and other pets are not allowed to be out on camp property even if they are on a leash. Accidents in various forms happen even with pets that have always been reliably well-behaved. As Trail Ridge is a pet-free facility, we respectfully ask that your pets (even the ones you consider to be family) stay home.

Vehicles

For the safety of camp participants, all vehicles must maintain the posted speed limit of 15 mph or less. All vehicles must stay on the roads, not on walking trails or to the lake without prior consent of the camp director. Please stay on the roads and refrain from driving through the grass. Vehicles at camp are intended for the use of convenience, not recreation. When parked, keys must be removed from any vehicle for the safety of all guests. Vehicles may only be operated by adults age 18 or older with a valid driver’s license.
