Kids Kamp (Grades 3-5)

Registration will open in January of 2025
Calling all kids! Join us for a week of summer camp at Trail Ridge! Get ready for a week of group competition, crazy games, wonderful food, and engaging chapel sessions. Campers have the opportunity to participate in activities like swimming, archery, crafts, BB guns, go-karts, and much more! Kids Kamp is our flagship program here at Trail Ridge. These weeks are designed for campers in 3rd-5th grade.
Please note that our age divisions for camp have changed! The divisions represent the grade that the camper will have most recently completed by June 2025.  With these new updates, a camper who was eligible for a certain week of camp last year may fall into a different category. If you have any questions feel free to reach out to the camp office.

2025 Theme Verse:

"For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building ."
1 Corinthians 3:9

All youth camp registrations received by Monday, March 31, 2025 will include a free "Under Construction" theme t-shirt ($16 value). When selecting the size of the t-shirt, please consider the future growth of your camper. The size you order will be the size you receive.
Due to the majority of our campers being within the 3rd-5th grade category, Trail Ridge offers two separate weeks of Kids Kamp. When registering your camper, please pay special attention to the dates, and make sure you've clicked the correct link. If you have any questions about registration or the Kids Kamp program, please contact the camp office, and we'd be happy to talk with you!

Tracks

Tracks will meet for about one hour each morning, and each day, campers will learn a new concept, skill, craft, etc. that coincides with their Track's overall theme. Campers will choose tracks here at camp with their cabin, and the Track they choose will be the Track they participate in all week. Tracks appeal to both boys and girls alike.
Tournament of Camp-ions: Enjoy employing strategy and newly learned skills as you compete in daily tournaments of some favorite camp activities.

All-Sports: Calling all athletes! Campers will enjoy warm ups, stretching, skill learning, and everyone's favorite-- playing the game.  Each day will be a different sport.

Trail Blazers: Nature enthusiasts will love getting out and exploring the trails of Trail Ridge. Not only will we be hiking, but also learning about the nature that surrounds us.

Crafts: Explore your crafty side and complete a few projects to take home.

Wilderness: Campers in this track will be spending their time learning some outdoor survival basics and competing in bushcraft challenges.

Top Shot: Learn shooting safety and shooting skill, and compete in shooting challenges in a wide variety of age-appropriate shooting sports.

Keys For Camps

In Spring of 2023 we partnered with a ministry that helps campers continue habits of personal Bible study started at camp, by providing them with materials they can use to do so once they've gone home. Each camper that attends Trail Ridge this summer will receive a 3-month booklet, and complete the first week here at camp. Once this book runs out, they have the option to continue to receive the booklets on a quarterly basis. Since offering this resource, hundreds of campers have opted in to receiving these daily devotionals!
Receiving Keys for Camps is easy! You can opt in when you register for summer camp, and the free, quarterly booklets will be sent to the address listed on the registration form. Many campers took advantage of this program last year, and one family let us know that they had started doing the devotionals together at the dinner table. Chips and Cereal

Help us make meals at the Dining Hall even more fun! In addition to our regular breakfast menu, we're planning to have a cereal bar with as many kinds of cereal as possible—Cheerios, Fruit Loops, Raisin Bran, you name it. Additionally, we'd like to do something similar with bags of chips at each lunch. We are requesting that each camper bring one of those items for our kitchen! (Girls—box of cereal. Boys—bag of chips.) Please note that boxes of cereal and bags of chips must be in their original sealed packaging, within the expiration date.
