Builder's Banquet
Get ready for a fun and memorable evening at the Kids Kamp Builder’s Banquet! Campers will enjoy a special themed supper and games. and we'd love for them to come dressed up for the part! This is a chance to get creative-think tool belts, paint shirts, hard hats, safety colors, and overalls. Dressing up is optional, but our staff will be joining in dressed as tradesmen like carpenters, painters, electricians, and welders! Here are some outfit ideas if you’re looking for inspiration-though there’s no need to buy anything new! Feel free to check the garage or use old clothes to create the perfect outfit for a fun night at camp!
Electrician – Wear a tool belt with some tools and a flashlight. A baseball cap and work gloves add to the look.
Painter - Overalls and an old shirt splattered with paint. Add a bandana and a small paintbrush to complete the look.
Plumber – Jeans, a t-shirt, boots, and a small wrench or tape measure. A hat and a name tag with a “plumbing company” name could be a fun touch.
Architect - A dressier outfit, a pencil tucked behind the ear, and a rolled up blueprint as a prop.
Welder – Dark jeans, a plain shirt, and a safety mask or goggles. They could add a small piece of cardboard wrapped in foil to mimic a welding tool.
Bricklayer/Mason – Overalls or work pants with a trowel, gloves, and maybe even a shoebox “brick” as a prop.
Interior Designer - Wear some bright, fun colors and add a notebook, measuring tape, or fabric swatches to bring the designer look to life.
Surveyor – Khakis or jeans, a button-up shirt, clipboard, and perhaps a map to give the surveyor look.
Roofer – A simple flannel or plaid shirt, jeans, gloves, and a hammer. A baseball cap could work well here, too.
Landscape Designer - Green or floral shirt, gloves, a hat, and some garden tools like a watering can.
