Thank you for being willing to spend time with us at Trail Ridge Camp! The theme for this year is "Under Construction" with I Corinthians 3:9 as our theme verse for the year. Our focus is on growth, transformation, and the understanding that each of us is a work in progress, continually shaped by God's hands.

You will have plenty of time while you're here to rest, relax, study, and participate with the campers if you like. The schedule and regular announcements will help you stay in the know about where everyone is and what they'll be doing. It’s always nice if our speakers can spend some time along with the campers-simply being available for conversation and fellowship. You may find yourself enjoying the camp activities as much as they do.

General Info

As our camp speaker, your primary job will be speaking at each chapel session. Each event at camp is a little different, but we typically have chapel right after breakfast, and right after supper. Click HERE for more chapel info and event specific details. During many of our retreats we do a special themed meal. You can find this information on our website under the "Retreats and Events" tab. Feel free to join the staff and retreat guests in dressing up for these!
Chapel time will begin with music and then we'll hand it over to you. When you get to camp, you'll be given a schedule. We ask that you are sensitive to the time allotted on the schedule. During your sessions, please give at least one invitation/call to action for those in attendance. WiFi is available at the Chapel and in the Prophet's Chamber.

Accommodations

You will be staying in our “Prophet’s Chamber” here at camp. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed, and the second bedroom has a queen-sized bed as well as a bunk bed. Your lodging has its own private bathroom, living room, and access to a shared back deck. The Prophet’s Chamber is equipped with bedding, pillows and towels for you to use during your stay. It also has a mini fridge, pod-style coffee maker, and microwave. If you need WiFi, the password is on the back of the door next to the bathroom. Simple scan the QR code and enter the password. Cell phone service is a bit spotty around here, so be prepared to be out of service at times.

Family

You’re welcome to bring your family along with you if you’d like. The safety and wellbeing of your children at camp is your responsibility. With similar expectations of our staff families, we ask you follow these guidelines: Children of speakers (that are not registered as campers) are welcome to participate in free time activities, but will not be able to join into organized group games. Children of speakers must not be a disturbance to chapel sessions or camp activities. For little ones, it is recommended that you bring along some quiet toys, non-messy snacks, or books. They must always be supervised by their parents (within eyeshot & earshot). Plan on doing things with your family, not sending them off to be entertained or supervised by camp staff. Discipline of your children should always be done in private. You can let us know how many family members will be coming to camp with you in the Speaker Questionnaire.

Dress Code

As our speaker, campers will be looking at you and anyone attending with you as an example of appropriate dress. It’s important that, as the example, we are always neat and clean, not sloppy or immodest. When speaking, we ask that you wear nice jeans or slacks with a collared or plain shirt that is not distracting from the message. When not speaking, feel free to change into something more comfortable that fits the guidelines for our camper dress code. Click HERE to read the staff/camper Dress Code.

Speaker Questionnaire

Please fill out this questionnaire as soon as possible. If you’re new to Trail Ridge, it may be a good idea to peruse our web site and take a look at the scope of ministry here at camp! We’re really looking forward to having you as our speaker! Our staff will be in prayer for you as you prepare. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out.
